Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
Choosing the Business Administration programme means opting for an economic study of the day-to-day functioning of a business. Although there is a lot of common ground between our programme and the Business Economics programme, our focus is more on the environmental factors and the organisational aspects of business life. The study programme is practice-oriented and project-based.
This program is accredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. AACSB is a global nonprofit association whose accreditation processes are ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Programme structure
- Bachelor
From the first year onwards, you will receive a thorough training in understanding (business) economics, and related skills. Economics also relies on a number of auxiliary sciences such as mathematics, statistics and computer science. You will become acquainted with the internal workings of a business and basic management techniques. The curriculum additionally contains a substantial array of language course units: in the first year, you choose two foreign languages, which you will continue to study throughout the Bachelor’s programme: Economic German, Economic English, Economic French or Economic Spanish. This language training serves as a preparation for employment in a globalised labour market.
From the second year onwards, you start with a broader study of the functional domains, i.e. taxation, commercial management, finance and risk management, IT management and HRM, as well as their interdependence. The focus is on management, entrepreneurship and the legal framework. You also strengthen your linguistic proficiency. The Bachelor’s programme culminates in a business plan and a Bachelor’s dissertation, which, taken together, testify to the fact that you are capable of making solid business decisions and communicate about those decisions adequately.
- Master
The Master’s programme contains a choice of five main subjects: Commercial Management, Finance and Risk Management, Taxation, Management and IT, and HRM and Organisational Management. The second term contains a (mandatory) twelve-week work placement at a business of your choice, during which you can put the knowledge you have acquired into practice in a creative manner. This will allow you to hone your professional attitude while also becoming acquainted with the challenges of a dynamic business environment. The Master’s programme culminates in a Master's dissertation.
In addition to the (domain) Master’s programme described above, you can also choose a Master’s Programme in Teaching (in Dutch: Educatieve Master).
